On 9.10.2024 at 13-17  Arcada will host on site training session for Deep Learning as a pilot implementation of the use of NVDIA Deep Learning Institute and CSC's national tools to support education and TKI activities in universities of applied sciences. 

The course will be Fundamentals of Deep Learning. As introduction, we will tell people who we are (CSC/NVAITC) and tell them about the great national supercomputing resources (Puhti, Mahti, Lumi) available to them as well as the NVIDIA DLI and its Ambassador program. The course is aimed for Arcada's studenst but part of the seats are reserved for the staff of other universities of applied sciences (as discussed in the meeting of vice-rectors 3.9.2024). There will be a morning session (at 10-12) independently of the afternoon session where we can discuss with guests from other universities about the current research at Arcada related to AI and Robotics as well as possible collaboration.

Tämän kokeilun taustalla on Arenen ja CSC:n yhdessä toteuttaman Tekoäly TKIO:n muutosmahdollisuutena ammattikorkeakoulujen toiminnassa -koulutusohjelma. Ohjelman myötä syntyi useita toimenpideaihioita.
